About us
We have been arranging Motor Cycle tours around
UK and Europe since 1990.
We have contacts in most parts of the UK and have
knowledge or contacts in many parts of France, Norway, Denmark,
Portugal, Germany, and Czechoslovakia etc.
If you look at our photos, you will see that we
pull in visits to medieval areas – La Rogue Gageac in Dordogne, the
Millau viaduct, Chartres cathedral, York Minster, Sompting church W
Sussex (the oldest church in the UK). Bram Stokers Whitby (Dracula
fame), Deauville and Trouville, upmarket towns near Caen/Le Havre. The
D-Day landing beaches. Cognac (yes, that is the name of the town where
they make the brandy (Cognac) and the distilleries are well worth a
visit when in the area.
As well as the D-Day beaches, there are interesting
visits to be made to Saint James, where there is a large war cemetery
for all the Americans who died in the battles round here.
A very interesting and sad place to visit is
ORADOR, where SS troops murdered all the villagers shortly after the
D-Day landings. The village is kept to this date exactly as it was left
in June 1944. It is amazing. Cars in the streets, singer sewing machines
etc.
The Chateaux of the Loire are beautiful and make
good motor cycling and cycling routes. The roads are twisty but there
are not many hills, it s gentle cycling and exciting motor cycling, with
kayaking and canoeing opportunities on the rivers.
If you are visiting the country and want to do some
family history research, what better way to explore the areas of your
forefathers, than travel as they would have, by bike (or if your prefer,
by horse and carriage!! We can arrange that too). Let us know the area
and we will arrange for you to cycle around it, arranging your
accommodation too.
If you want to try yachting (subject to the
weather) or visiting stately homes (e.g. Chatsworth house, Derbyshire)
or see Little Johns grave (Robin Hoods merry men), basically, we want
you to enjoy the experience of visiting the area, the county or the
country
Our vehicles
We have Iveco long wheel base high roof van with
Sat Nav, safe, deadlocks, storage, alarm, immobilizer, side and rear
loading ramps, tow hitch and trailer options.
We have Renault Espace with tow
hitch, and alarm, immobilizer, Sat Nav
We have Yamaha FJR1300 and Honda Pan
European motor cycles with alarms, immobilizers, and both are data
tagged. They are fully equipped with touring gear –panniers, top box,
tank bag etc, and both have heated grips and the options of Sat Nav.
We have lockable enclosed 4 wheel
trailer with ramps and tie downs.
We have single axle trailer for
carrying 3 off road motor cycles and all equipment.
We have Rover estate car to back up
for baggage carriage.
We have a variety of on and off road
pedal cycles.
We supply local hand held radios with
an operating range of 8 Kms. (better than some security companies have)
We use mobile phones that work in the
areas, Orange and O2.
